Don Tobin had a sure hand and a strong fluid line. I always thought his comic panel Little Woman (1953-1965) was really charming. Tobin’s skill as a cartoonist awed me.

Don Tobin was born in Austin,Texas in 1916, graduated from the University of California in 1936, and subsequently worked at the Disney Studios, contributing to many of the classics made during that period. He moved on to magazine cartoons, leaving the studio after the cartoonists strike in 1941.
