127) Piro Panels…

I love Stephanie Piro’s work. She has a spontaneous and fluid line that is quite captivating. Her work regularly appears in rotation with five other talented female creators in King Feature’s Six Chix comic strip.

I had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie and her husband, John, a number of years ago at the National Cartoonists Society’s Reuben Awards weekend. I was alone at the event (as Jayme had to stay in Los Angeles), but Stephanie and John kindly took me under their wing and helped make the experience extra special.
