132) Barsotti…

Here’s an  original Charles Barsotti (1933-2014) panel from my collection. Charles Barsotti was an American cartoonist best known for his distinctive work in The New Yorker. His career spanned several decades, during which he developed a unique minimalist style characterized by simple lines and often featuring dogs, kings, and other whimsical characters. Barsotti’s cartoons frequently conveyed humor and wisdom through deceptively simple drawings, often reflecting on the human condition with a gentle, understated wit. Barsotti’s cartoons began appearing in The New Yorker in 1962. Over the years, he became one of the magazine’s most recognizable contributors, known for his distinctive and whimsical style.
