Jayme and I haven’t had a dog since our sweet Baxter died a number of years back. Baxter was a terrier mix who was so lovely and loving that we couldn’t bring ourselves to replace him when he passed.

Now we have our daughter’s dog in our life.

Selkie

Selkie is a beautiful pittie who seldom barks and is very smart. We occasionally take care of her whenever Emily and her partner, Anthony, need to be elsewhere. Being around a dog again certainly reminds me why cartoonists and writers often humanize our canine friends. Here are a number of comic strip dogs from my collection...
