Yesterday was Memorial Day and, as part of my usual daily routine, I read all my favorite comic strips at ComicsKingdom and GoComics. Quite a number of strips honored the holiday with sentiments of thanks for all those who died in defense of our democracy. I couldn’t help but feel sad that we now live in a country where a sizable part of the population is dishonoring the dead by supporting a crazed faction that wants to sabotage democracy.

The meaning of Memorial Day and Independence Day has been tarnished by right wing wackos.
