Posted above is a preliminary drawing by talented cartoonist Matthew Diffee.

Matt was the president of the Los Angeles branch of the National Cartoonists Society. He led with creativity and gusto, making every meeting fun and informative. Unfortunately, between his stepping down as leader and the beginning of the pandemic, NCSLA has seemingly disbanded. Hopefully NCSLA will have a rebirth.
