Brian Anderson’s charming comic strip, Dog eat Doug, is about Sophie (dog) and her relationship with her owner’s baby boy (Doug). The strip started as a webcomic in 2004, but was quickly chosen for newspaper syndication by Creators Syndicate in 2005.

Keeping the focus on the smaller world of Sophie and Doug (and some mischievous cats and other extraneous creatures), Brian Anderson only depicts occasional appearances by adults (and never shows the full figure or face).
