389) Whale of a Tale…

Here’s a cartoon I drew some years ago. Yes, I know that whales are mammals, but it’s hard not to think of them as large fish. In an article at ecologyforthemasses.com, Sam Perrin (a freshwater ecologist at the Centre for Biodiversity Dynamics at the Norwegian University for Science and Technology) wrote: The Sarcopterygii are a group of fish, which evolved into the first land-dwelling tetrapods, which went on to include whales (and us).
