In the mid seventies I partnered with my friends Jim Keeshen and Barry Whitebook to form Ark Animation. Our goal was to land enough work to help finance our own projects. It was a youthful and somewhat naive ambition, but we managed to land a few commercial assignments and a handful of Sesame Street spots. The partnership did not last long, however, due to irreconcilable creative differences and the inability to generate enough income to cover our basic needs.
