I’ve always been a big Superman fan. Even through various creative missteps, the essential character of the Man of Steel personifies Truth, Justice and the ideal of the American Way. I say “ideal” because the United States has never lived up to the high minded concepts that went into the Constitution. Even our founding fathers fell far short.

I’ve seen some really amazing Superman collectables. Some avid fans have rooms filled with merchandise celebrating the superhero. While I love the character, I am not a fanatic. Still, I have amassed a fair sized assortment of items honoring this seminal character. Here’s a look at some pieces.
