25) The Rocky Road to Writing…(part two)

So, the first Mythfits book was out, the second was being prepped for publication, and I was inspired to start writing a third adventure. Then things began to fall apart. It had become apparent that the publishers were incapable of living up to their promises, breaching the terms of our contract. It got to the point where I felt I needed legal counsel to extricate myself from any connection to this publisher, yet still retain 100% ownership over my intellectual property. I hired a lawyer.

The upshot was that the publishers ceased working on the second volume and relinquished all claims on the book series. Victory and defeat.

Now I had to decide what to do with two completed books and a third story in progress. To be continued…eventually.
