41) Cover to Covers…

I was, of course, very excited when the first edition of The Mythfits was released. But I was never particularly in love with the cover design. It was one of those compromises one makes when they are anxious for a project to reach fruition in a timely manner. The artist, Aron Dittbrenner, did a nice job considering that the art director misguided him on the tone of the book. The original cover was too murky and conveyed a gloomy atmosphere. I wanted something a little more lighthearted and magical.

When I regained control of the property, I decided to try a Manga approach to the covers and contacted Ben Dunn. Ben is a great and prolific manga artist who has recently found additional fame as the creator of the Netflix series Warrior Nun.
