Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist Tom Toles retired last year. I miss his insightful and left leaning panels rendered in his unique and appealing style.

Toles also tried his hand at a daily comic strip twice in his career. Curious Avenue (1992-1994) focused on a group of streetwise children. Pictured above is an original panel of Randolph Itch @ 2AM (2000-2003) inspired by Toles’ own battle with insomnia.
