Cathy Guisewite’s CATHY comic strip had a very successful run from 1976 to 2010. Ms. Guisewite has revived the character in a charming series of single panel comics that reflect the trials and tribulations of surviving the pandemic, titled CATHY COMMISERATIONS.

Some time in the 1980’s there was some thought to doing an animated series about young Cathy. I was asked to do a few loose roughs of strips featuring Cathy and Irving as children. Only the one posted below remains in my files. The project never went beyond the discussion stage.
