Brothers Rick and Bill Hackney created the comic strip Sir Bagby, which ran in a small number of newspapers from 1957 to 1967. The main characters were Sir Bagby, King Filbert, the wizard Snerk, and Solly the jester.

Posted below is an original strip from my collection that seemed fitting for the Christmas season.
