Posted above is a specialty drawing of The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee by John Hambrock. The comic strip premiered on November 12, 2006 and starred the boy genius, Edison Lee. The supporting cast includes his parents, Don & Carol, his paternal grandfather, Orville, and a talking rat as a lab assistant named Joules.

While much of the humor is derived from Edison’s bizarre inventions, Hambrock also often features the gluttonous, couch potato antics of grandfather Orville. Occasionally the strip wanders into pithy observations of the political and social scene.

John’s wife, Anne, (who is also an accomplished harpist) does the coloring for the strip.

The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee is distributed by King Features Syndicate.
