Original Mullets by Rick Stromoski & Steve McGarry date unknown

Another one of my favorite cartoonists is Rick Stromoski, whose vast talent can be viewed at rickstromoski.com

In partnership with cartoonist Steve McGarry, Stromoski produced the comic strip Mullets from 11/24/2003 to 1/15/2005. Just like the hair style, the strip was short lived. The lead characters, Kevin and Scab (who remind me of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber), lived in a trailer while working at Mildew’s Hardware Store.

Stromoski’s other comic strip, Soup to Nutz, had greater success with a run of eighteen years. It primarily focused on the three Nutz children: Royboy, the oafish oldest child, Babs, the clever and manipulative sister, and Andrew, the youngest, who enjoyed playing with dolls and would probably be considered a soft boy. Parents, Roy and Pat, rounded out the cast.
