Sherman’s Lagoon is an amusing comic strip by Jim Toomey about the underwater denizens of the fictional Kapupu Lagoon of Kapupu Island in the South Pacific Ocean. Launched in 1991, the strip stars great white shark, Sherman, and tells of his interactions with others in the lagoon. Though still a joke-a-day feature, it often follows a story arc that lasts for many days.
